FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


If this is your first time to purchase an Import Performance Car directly from Japan
then rest assured that you are in safe hands.

We aim to make purchasing your Import Cars from Japan as simple as possible and we 100% want you to come back to us and buy more cars.

If it is a 'Stock Car' or an 'Arriving Soon' car that you are considering buying then obviously the process is easy.
Just tell us which car and we can arrange payment and delivery.

ORDERS

1. If you want to place a specific order for a Japanese import,
then following discussion regarding all of your requirements and the receipt of your deposit into our account, we will then go ahead and search for and the car of your choice.
This might take just a few days or maybe a lot longer if your car request and budget proves difficult.
We will only buy a car that fits your requirements
NOT
 the first one we see regardless.
We want you to be happy with your purchase!

2. Following successful purchase of your vehicle, we will then arrange to ship the car from Japan. In the meantime your car will wait in our Japanese storage yard.

3. The price that we quote and that you pay is an OTR price.
This means that you have not only FULLY paid for the vehicle
 but also ALL the charges and costs incurred, including MOT, Registration and Road Tax.

4. Your Japanese Import Car is now on its way by ship to the UK destination port. Normally from Japan this is via a Ro Ro Ship, which basically means Roll On...Roll Off.
The alternative is a container but that is the more expensive option.

5. Once the ship arrives at the UK port we will have to Customs Clear the vehicle through our shipping agent. We will submit all relevant paperwork to Customs and then pay all the neccesary Customs and Duty charges.

6. Once Customs Clear we will then arrange to have the car collected from the port and delivered to our premises.

7. Following delivery to our premises, we will immediately arrange to fully check and prepare the car for it's MOT.  We will then complete and submit all documentation required for Vehicle Registration with the DVLA.

8. Once the above process is complete, we will fit Number Plates to your new Performance Car and you are free to collect or alternatively we will arrange to have it delivered to your door.
